Do I buy the lights, or do you provide them?
We provide them. On a full-service installation we own the strands, cut them to your house, install them, service them through the season, take them down, and store them at our shop until next year. You are not buying a product you then have to test and replace every fall, you are paying for a lit house from Thanksgiving through the holidays.
How do you attach the lights? Will it damage my roof or gutters?
We attach everything with clips, and nothing is stapled, nailed, or screwed into your roof. Punctures in shingles, fascia, or gutters are the main way DIY and low-end installs cause damage, water gets in, freezes, and the repair costs more than the display did. Our clips come off at takedown and leave nothing behind.
What happens if part of the display goes dark in December?
We come back and fix it, at no extra charge. In-season service is part of every installation we do, not an add-on. Call (914) 962-2095 and we will get a crew out, you should never be the one on a ladder in December finding the dead run.
Do you take the lights down after the holidays?
Yes, takedown and storage are both included. We remove everything in January, clip by clip rather than pulling the strands off the roof, and the lights go back to our shop to be tested before next season. Nothing ends up in bins in your garage.
Can you use the lights we already own?
We install our own commercial-grade LED strands rather than retail sets, because retail strands come in fixed lengths and your roofline does not. That is what causes the bunched tail at one corner and the gap at the other. If you have a piece you are attached to — a specific wreath or a family display — tell us at the estimate and we will work it in.
