Christmas Lights Installation Built Around Greenwich Houses
Our Christmas lights installation starts with the house itself. Greenwich homes run from shingle-style colonials in Riverside and Old Greenwich to stone Georgians and Tudors with steep slate roofs in Mid-Country and Back Country. Each one needs a different layout.
We measure every roofline, gable, and ridge so the lights are cut to length. No coiled extra strand at the corners and no gaps where a run came up short. On larger properties we plan the approach too, because the drive and the gate are often the first thing guests see.
Our crew works out of Mount Kisco, about 30 minutes from Greenwich, and we install across the town every season.
About NY Landscape Lighting
Why Greenwich Homeowners Choose NY Landscape Lighting For Christmas Lights
Greenwich homeowners choose NY Landscape Lighting for Christmas lights because lighting is our whole business. Many holiday installers are landscapers, painters, or gutter cleaners filling their winter schedule. We have installed only lighting since 2005.
That shows on a Greenwich house. A long roofline with several gables, a slate roof, and copper gutters is easy to get wrong. Lines sag, clips pop off in wind, and one dead section leaves a dark gap across the front of the house.
We supply the lights, install them, take them down after the holidays, and store them off-season. Nothing goes back into your garage.
We also lease decorated Christmas trees. You pick the theme and colors, and we deliver, set up, and remove the tree after the holidays.

Christmas Lighting We Install On Greenwich Homes
The Christmas lighting we install on Greenwich homes covers the house, the trees, and the approach. These are the elements we light most often.
Rooflines, gables, and ridges. The outline of the house. Cut to length and clipped at even spacing so the line stays straight from the street.
Front entry and portico. The spot people photograph. Lights on the door surround, columns, and railings, with wreaths and garland if you want them.
Mature trees. Trunk and branch wraps on the oaks, beeches, and maples that frame many Greenwich lots. Tall canopies are done from a lift, not a ladder.
Gates, pillars, and stone walls. On Back Country and Round Hill properties, the approach is often a long drive. Lighting the gate piers tells guests they have arrived.
Shrubs and hedges. Net and string lights on foundation plantings and boxwood along the walk.
If the house already has outdoor lighting in Greenwich from us, we plan the Christmas lights to work with it rather than compete with it.
Permanent Or Seasonal
Permanent Christmas Lights Vs. Seasonal Installation In Greenwich
Permanent Christmas lights in Greenwich are a year-round system mounted along the roof edge, with color you can change for Christmas, other holidays, or plain white the rest of the year. Seasonal installation is the traditional approach: we put the lights up each fall and take them down after the holidays. We install both, and they are quoted as separate systems.
| Seasonal Christmas light installation | Permanent roofline lighting | |
|---|---|---|
| How it works | Lights clipped on each fall, removed in January | Low-profile fixtures mounted once along the roof edge |
| When it is on | Holiday season only | Any night of the year, programmable color |
| What else it covers | Trees, shrubs, entry, gates, wreaths | Roofline only. Trees and entry are still seasonal |
| Yearly visits | Install, takedown, storage every year | None for the roofline after install |
| Best fit | Full holiday displays and homes that want a classic warm white look | Homeowners who want the roofline lit for several holidays each year |
Many Greenwich clients do both: permanent roofline lighting on the house, plus seasonal lights on trees and the entry each December.
How It Works
Our Christmas Light Installation Process In Greenwich
Our Christmas light installation process in Greenwich starts with a free design visit. We walk the property, measure the rooflines, and agree on what gets lit. You get a fixed price, not an estimate that grows on install day.
Installs run from late October through early December. Dates fill by late November, so early fall booking gets you the most choice.
If a section goes out during the season, call us and we send a crew. After the holidays we take everything down and store it until next year.

FAQs
How much does Christmas light installation cost in Greenwich?
We give you a fixed price after a free design visit, so you are not approving a guess. The number depends on the length of the roofline, roof height and pitch, and how many trees and entry features get lit.
When should I book Christmas lights in Greenwich?
We recommend booking in early fall. We install from late October through early December, and dates are usually full by late November.
Do you take the lights down and store them?
Yes. Takedown and off-season storage are part of the service. We remove everything after the holidays and store it, so nothing ends up in your garage or attic. VERIFY takedown timing
Are permanent Christmas lights worth it on a Greenwich house?
For homeowners who want the roofline lit for more than one holiday, yes. A permanent system mounts once and runs any color, any night, with no yearly install. If you only light up for Christmas, or want full tree and entry displays, seasonal installation is the better fit. We quote both after the design visit.
Can you install Christmas lights on large commercial properties?
Do you provide Christmas decor installation as well?
Yes. We provide complete Christmas decor installation, including Christmas tree leasing for homes and businesses. Our leased trees can be professionally installed, decorated, and removed after the holiday season, so you can enjoy a finished Christmas display without purchasing, storing, or maintaining the tree year-round.
